报告简介

题目：Interdisciplinary Frameworks for Addressing Global Ecological and Sustainability Challenges

主讲人介绍：Jianguo Liu is a leading ecologist, human–environment scientist, and sustainability scholar. He holds the Rachel Carson Chair in Sustainability, is a University Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University (MSU), and serves as the founding director of the Center for Systems Integration and Sustainability. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Philosophical Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters. He pioneered systems integration for global sustainability and developed the award-winning metacoupling framework, which integrates human–nature interactions and feedbacks within specific places (intracoupling), between adjacent places (pericoupling), and across distant places (telecoupling) to advance sustainability worldwide. He founded the global CHANS-Net, has received the World Sustainability Award among other honors, and is consistently recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher.
