The inaugural ceremony of the Institute of Ecology (IOE) at the Peking University, along with the Forum on Ecological Sciences in China, was successfully held at the Peking University Overseas Exchange Center on June 5th, 2018.

The newly established institute is planned to integrate the isolated resources across different colleges within the university to one platform for ecological education and research. The mission of the IOE is to achieve academic and scientific excellence in the field of ecology and to educate citizens and citizen-leaders for our society.
